Tools For Tomorrow and La Quinta Art Celebration Partner on Book Project for Students

Tools For Tomorrow and La Quinta Art Celebration join to raise funds for children’s literature books for students throughout the Coachella Valley to read in TFT’s Creative Clubs, create related art and music projects and then take the books home to share with siblings.

Children’s books can engage a child, facilitating their wonder, curiosity and interests. Introducing children to books paired with music and hand-on art projects encourages them to become readers and storytellers, building skills, confidence and understanding for English Language Learners.

Children’s books allow students to learn about important people, discover perseverance as they see themselves reflected in stories of overcoming adversity, feel empowered to express themselves and inspired by the beautiful illustrations. Books to be purchased with donations at La Quinta Art Celebration February 27 – March 2 include (book descriptions attached):
