“Do you remember me?” Daniel asked Joyce Bulifant one afternoon in January 2024 at the Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City.

Of course she did!  Daniel had played the role of Arthur Ashe in the tribute musical performance at Tools For Tomorrow’s 2016 VISION for the Future Award Gala “Follow Your Star!” honoring Charlie Pasarell. Daniel was one of a group of students to perform from Rancho Mirage Elementary School.

Now Joyce was rehearsing with a group of children for the 2024 VISION for the Future Award Gala “Celebrate Friendship!” honoring Joe Giarrusso. Daniel was working at the Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City, heard her voice, and recognized her immediately.

Joyce invited Daniel to share about his TFT experience on stage at the gala. He enthusiastically agreed. Daniel talked about his experience performing at the gala, thanked the attendees for this meaningful opportunity, and shared his joy in getting to see the children from the BGCCC perfom just like he had.
